Terms and Conditions

All rates are quoted in New Zealand Dollars on a per night basis for one apartment and the number of people you have selected and INCLUDE Taxes and GST of 15%. All accounts must be settled directly with Tekapo Luxury Apartments Ltd in New Zealand Dollars.

The price advertised might not be the same price charged to the credit card account due to the exchange rate. Fluctuations – This means that because we are based in New Zealand, we have to convert your purchase to New Zealand Dollars at the exchange rate on the day it is processed. When paying by credit card a 2.5% credit card surcharge fee will apply.


Check-in time is from 3 pm daily. If it’s possible, please provide the estimated time of arrival and contact us if there are changes or delays on arrival.

Check-out time is before 10 am on the day of departure.


You must be 18yrs or over to make this reservation.

Credit card details and payment will be taken at the time of booking. We welcome most of the credit cards excluding AMEX or Dinner card.

Cancellation Policy

Your credit card payment is fully refundable if you cancel your booking, provided it is not within 7 days of the arrival date.

If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date we may charge you one night’s accommodation.

Proof of ID

Proof of ID will be required on arrival together with presentation of a credit card.

Refund Policy

Tekapo Luxury Apartments accepts no responsibility for weather conditions or road closures.

As per the above all cancellations received 7 days or more prior to your arrival will not be charged. If you cancel 7 days or less prior to your arrival you will be charged an amount equal to one night’s accommodation. If you cancel during your stay the original charge as per your booking will apply. This includes no shows. All cancellations and amendments must be received by email or in writing. Refunds will only be made within seven days to the credit card debited for the original transaction.

Please note – Special events and promotional room rates/offers a no cancellation policy applies, which means, no refunds or changes permitted.

Guest Responsibilities

The Guest is responsible for the apartment during his/her stay. The Guest shall take all reasonable care of the apartment and at the end of the stay shall leave the apartment clean and tidy. If the apartment requires additional cleaning or has been damaged Tekapo Luxury Apartments reserves the right to charge the Guest accordingly.

Vehicles and belongings

Pleases note we accept no responsibility for any damage or loss to any vehicle or personal belongings.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is NOT permitted in any space in the apartments.


No pets are allowed in the apartments.
